For this project, our goal was to seamlessly incorporate the hardscaping with the existing property. This poolside backyard cabana was specifically designed to integrate into the existing home as well as the stonework around the pool and patio. By taking extra care to select the right materials, we were able to create an addition to the client’s yard that looks as though it always belonged there. With plenty of seating options, a cozy covered patio, beautiful fireplace, and outdoor kitchen counters our clients have everything they could possibly want in a backyard gathering place that has a familiar, yet fresh look!

Project Overview

We wrapped the cabana posts and roof gables in composite material to protect the structure and reduce maintenance needs over time. The flooring consists of square cut bluestone to match the existing pool patio.

The fireplace, kitchen, and columns are built from Tennessee Crab Orchard Brown stone in a 70/30 Veneer stone and stacked stone mix.

This backyard now has a feeling of true completeness, and it exemplifies what can happen when intentional design, specific material selection, and expert craftsmanship can do. We anticipate many happy outdoor memories in the future and are overjoyed with the outcome.
