      Our Approach

Design is the Difference Between a Patio and a Property Transformation.

Before a single stone is placed, we design. We study your home’s existing lines, your site’s natural grades, and how each outdoor space connects to the next. The result is a cohesive outdoor environment that feels like it was always meant to be there.

      The Design Experience

What You Get Before We Ever Break Ground

      Site Analysis & Consultation

Every project starts with an in-person visit to your property. We walk the site together, discuss how you use your outdoor space today and how you want to use it in the future, and identify opportunities you may not have considered yet.

      3D Renderings & Visual Design

We produce detailed 3D renderings of your finished project so you can see exactly what you’re getting before any work begins. Adjust materials, layouts, and features with confidence, not guesswork.

      Material Selection & Curation

From bluestone and travertine to natural fieldstone and premium concrete pavers, we guide you through material choices that complement your home’s architecture and hold up beautifully over time.

      Spatial Planning & Flow

We design outdoor environments that make sense. Traffic flow, sightlines, privacy, shade, and gathering zones are all considered together so the finished space functions as well as it looks.

      Lighting & Ambiance Planning

Outdoor lighting is designed into the plan from the start, not added on at the end. We map how your space will look and feel after dark as part of the overall design.

      Phased Design for Long-Term Projects

If you have a larger vision for your property, we can design the full picture now and build it in phases over time. Your plan is saved. When you’re ready for the next phase, we already know exactly where we left off.

How It Works A Process Built Around Clarity

You should know exactly what you’re getting, what it costs, and when it happens before we ever start. That’s not a courtesy. That’s how we work on every project, every time.

      I. Discovery and Site Visit

We come to you, walk your property, and listen. This conversation shapes everything that comes next.

II. Design, 3D Rendering and Material Selection

We develop your design and present it through detailed 3D renderings. We refine every detail until it feels exactly right.

      III. Pre-Construction Review

We walk through the full plan together before anything starts. Timeline, sequencing, and site preparation all confirmed in writing.

      IV. The Build

Your project manager is on site every day. When we are done, we walk the finished project with you to make sure every detail meets the standard we both agreed to.

      Featured Projects

This family wanted a full backyard redesign that rivaled the beauty of the creek and golf course just beyond, and we set out to deliver from the get-go. The client selected a shimmery silver travertine French pattern for the patio’s stone flooring, ensuring cool comfort for their feet in the warm Carolina summers. Additionally, we utilized the silver travertine as pool coping to enhance the overall cohesion of the design.

We installed natural stacked stone garden walls to add style and a bit of variety, texture, and interest to the space. This was a large-scale project that had a few challenges, but our team of skilled masons and professionals made this client’s vision a reality. Their pool, decking, retaining wall, spa, and outdoor lighting combine to create an everlasting Eden for one and all.

Crafted for a feature home by a prominent builder, this backyard invites you to slow down, step outside, and stay awhile. Along the edge of the yard, a full-circle stone Moongate rises above a flowing water feature, designed with the feel of an infinity-edge pool. This sculptural centerpiece sets the tone with calm, modern character and intentional framing.

From the paver layout to the fire feature, every element was selected for its balance of function, durability, and visual impact. With places to cook, gather, and retreat, the space blends fire, stone, and light into a cohesive outdoor living experience—designed to welcome and endure.

      What Our Clients Say

Everything You Want to Know Before You Reach Out

What is the minimum project size you work with?

Our landscape design projects typically start at $75,000. For homeowners with larger property-wide visions, we regularly work on projects up to $500,000 and beyond.

Your design fee covers the full design process including your site visit, 3D renderings, material selection guidance, and any revisions along the way. It is an investment in getting the plan exactly right before any construction begins.

Every project is different depending on scope and complexity. We move with intention, not in a rush. Most clients complete the design phase within a few weeks before we move into pre-construction planning.

We serve homeowners across the greater Charlotte region including Fort Mill, Weddington, Marvin, Matthews, Davidson, Myers Park, and Lake Norman. We generally stay within an hour of our Fort Mill office to ensure we can give every project the daily attention it deserves.

If you have a larger vision for your property, we can design the full picture now and build it in phases. Your plans are saved and when you are ready for the next phase, we already know exactly where we left off.

We are a full design-build firm. We handle everything from the initial design through final construction so you are never managing multiple contractors or trying to coordinate between a designer and a builder.
